What You'll Do
As a Director
As a Director on the Board of Student Representatives, you will help govern the SRC, represent student voices, serve on internal committees, and take part in regular board and university meetings. You will work with other Directors to set the SRC’s strategic direction, advocate for students, and uphold the organization’s bylaws and policies.
Please note: The newly-elected BSR will select among itself their President and Vice-President.

As Vice-President
In addition to the duties of a Director, the VP is the deputy leader and deputy chair of the BSR. They support the President in the performance of the President’s role. They serve on the University Senate as a voting member and support the Student Senators.
The VP works increased hours with greater compensation. Often, the VP decides to take a reduced courseload for their term.

As President
In addition to the duties of a Director, the President is the leader and chair of the BSR. They are the lead spokesperson for the organization. They represent the SRC on the University’s Board of Governors & the Quebec Student Union. They work closely with the Executive Director.

| NOMINATIONS CLOSE | Thursday February 5 at 12 noon sharp |

| VOTING | Sunday February 22 at 9 pm until 9 pm on Tuesday February 24 |

HOW TO APPLY
To apply, candidates must complete all the following before 12 noon on Thursday February 5:
- Attend a Mandatory Candidate /Campaign Agent Meeting – Jan 23 @ 12 noon, Jan 28 @ 10 am, or Feb 5 @ 2 pm.
- Submit a completed Application Form (online only)
- Submit Nomination Form with signatures of 20 students (paper only)
- Your nominators must reply to email from Elections Office to verify nomination
- Declare Campaign Agent, if applicable, using Campaign Agent Application (online only)
- Declare Slate, if applicable, using Slate Application Form (online or paper)
You are encouraged to start the application process well in advance of the deadline to ensure you are verified as a candidate before the deadline!
