Peer academic mentoring is a free service provided by the BUSRC through the Student Success Center. We can help you navigate the academic community at Bishop’s, including tutoring services, research, internships, extracurricular academic opportunities, journal submissions, and anything related to academics.Additionally, we can assist with time management skills, studying methods, and more!

Hi Gaiters! My name is Maya, and I am the manager of the Student Success Center this year. I am a fourth-year student, studying Biochemistry and Pre-Medicine. I am from Vancouver Island, BC. As the Student Success Manager, I oversee the operations of the Student Success Center, which is located on the second floor of the library (LLC223). This means I help organize networking events, informational workshops, coordinate Nimbus Tutoring, and provide peer academic mentoring.
