The Department of Sociology at Bishop’s University is hosting the Theorizing Digital Media Conference, which will take place on Friday, October 4 (9:00 AM – 7:30 PM) and Saturday, October 5 (9:00 AM – 6:15 PM) at the Cleghorn Conference Room, 2nd floor, McGreer Hall.
Organized by Dr. Steve Cole and Dr. Alex Miltsov, the event features a keynote by Dr. Anabel Quan-Haase and presentations from over 25 scholars from Canada and the U.S., covering topics such as social media, AI ethics, digital identity, privacy, disinformation, and virtual communities.
