For the third iteration of the “Connections series”, the ArtLab has invited Gabrielle Joncas-Brunet, sexual violence response advisor at Bishop’s University, to examine artworks from the permanent collection. Initially drawn to abstract pieces, their attention was captured by a series of 18th-century engravings by the artist William Hogarth (1697–1764) entitled “Marriage à la Mode”.
