The Foreman Art Gallery’s Community Art Lab (ArtLab) is proud to collaborate with BlackEstrie for the next guided tour of the current group exhibition Faux plis par hypothèses, followed by a creative workshop.

The guided tour will take the form of a dialogue to collectively reflect on the issues raised by the exhibition. The creative workshop, meanwhile, will invite participants to map a preferred field of interest in order to question and reinvent the way they look at it.

During the creative workshop bites will be served and complimentary hot beverages will be available. The event is free and open to everyone.

BlackEstrie, founded in 2020, is a non-profit organization based in Sherbrooke. Its mission is to promote black cultures in the Estrie region through inclusive socio-cultural activities, thus fostering intercultural rapprochement, helping to change perceptions and break down stereotypes.
