This fall, the Eastern Townships Resource Centre invites you to make culinary history. 

In collaboration with Literacy in Action’s Migratory Roots Festival, the ETRC is offering free community cooking experiences inspired by research into Eastern Townships culinary heritage. 

Thursday, September 26th – Beulah United Church – 967 Rue Main, Ayer’s Cliff 

Thursday, October 17th – Richmond County Historical Society – 1161 QC-243, Melbourne

Thursday, October 24th – Uplands Cultural and Heritage Centre – 9 rue Speid, Sherbrooke 

To learn tried-and-tested recipes—and to cook with fresh, local ingredients alongside our Cooking Up the Past coordinator—please come at 3 PM. 

Other Migratory Roots Festival activities—including a local art and poetry showcase—begin at 5 PM.
