The 2024 Bishop’s Forum would like to extend an invitation for you for either of our civic leadership events for this year. The Bishop’s Forum is a networking and coaching event for 18-26 English-speaking youth of Quebec aged 18-26 who wish to learn how to make an impact on their provincial government and communities.
This year marks the first Bishop’s Forum Lite, a one-day reunion and networking event created to give a glimpse into our larger experience. Over the course of one day, Bishop’s Forum Lite will feature two speakers, along with free networking breakfast and lunch. Young leaders will be able to ask questions, speak directly with community leaders, and have their voices heard. This event is made to teach participants about leading and inspiring their community.
Our 8th edition of the Bishop’s Forum will be held August 9th-14th, with multiple speakers, interactive sessions, and ending with a mock Parliamentary trial where English-speaking youth can gain confidence and experience in the Quebec legislative process.
Both the Bishop’s Forum proper and Bishop’s Forum Lite are offered at no cost to participants. The initiative is funded by the Government of Québec’s Secrétariat aux relations avec les Québécois d’expression anglaise.
If you are interested in participating, we invite you to register at bishopsforum.ubishops.com before February 10th, 2024. Any questions can be directed to our Assistant Director Sonia Patenaude at spatenau@ubishops.ca.
We hope to hear from you!
