The ArtLab hives team is delighted to announce the reopening of our art hives on Saturday September 14, 2024. 

The schedule for fall 2024 will be:

Wednesdays from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Saturday, 12:30 pm to 4:30 pm

But what is an art hive?

An Art Hive is a community art studio that welcomes everyone as an artist; it’s a place to make art and meet other people. Materials and space are available for a self-directed experience of creative exploration. A facilitator is there to accompany participants if needed but everyone is considered to be able to teach what they know and learn from others. It is free and it operates with donated materials. Located on the Bishop’s University campus (under the Foreman Art Gallery, in the Centennial building), the ArtLab Art Hive is an inclusive bilingual space open to members of the university community as well as members of the Sherbrooke and Eastern Townships community.

Come and take some time out to create art, meet people or simply take a break from the everyday routine!
