Mariana Rodriguez is a fourth-year Business Administration student pursuing a double major in Management and Human Resources, with a minor in French Studies. Since arriving at Bishop’s University, Mariana has been actively involved on campus, contributing to student life through roles such as Human Resources Intern in the BU HR office, Circulation Desk Assistant for the LLC, and Diversity and Inclusion Representative for the SRC in 2024–2025.
In her third year, Mariana quickly distinguished herself through her leadership and commitment to fostering inclusive spaces. She served as the Diversity Director for the Bishop’s Charity Fashion Show and as Co-Lead and one of the founders of the Women in Business Society (WIBS), where she helped organize networking and professional development events for women in business. Additionally, she helped develop an EDI training session on unconscious bias, further demonstrating her dedication to equity and inclusion on campus.
Her dedication to excellence has earned her recognition as the Student Highlight for the Williams School of Business (January 2026), the Student Leadership Award from the Williams School of Business, and Most Valuable Resident for the Paterson building. Mariana was also named a semi-finalist for the prestigious CEOx1Day program by Odgers & The Globe and Mail, reflecting her growing presence in the business community.
A trilingual communicator fluent in English, French, and Spanish, Mariana is passionate about student advocacy, talent development, and inclusive leadership. As Business Student Senator for the 2026–2027 academic year, she looks forward to representing the voice of Williams School of Business students, promoting meaningful academic change, and supporting experiential learning opportunities.
